The Lost Hero
Author
Rick Riordan
Review
In this book, Jason Grace, former roman praetor, struggles to remember himself after being brainwashed and forced to switch camps with the famous hero Percy Jackson. On top of this he has to go on a quest with his two friends, Leo and Piper, to rescue the goddess Hera and to save Piper's father from the clutches of an evil giant. I really enjoyed this book!!   Find it here!

Evangeline
Author
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Review
This poem recounts the tale of Evangeline and Gabriel, who were living in Acadie when the British forced them out in "le grand derangement." While the boats were leaving Acadie, Evangeline and Gabriel, just recently betrothed, were separated. Now, they are trying to find each other.
The entire story is written is verse form, with very descriptive and creative figurative language. Though the story moves slowly, the rich language is very enjoyable.  Find it here!

Divergent
Author
Veronica Roth
Review
The book is about a town, Chicago, that is separated into factions. The main character, Beatrice, was in Abnegation faction. When Beatrice had turned sixteen, she had to take a test that decided which faction she should join. The lady who tested her said she was Divergent, which is someone who is not a person who follows the rules. Beatrice had chose the faction,Dauntless, which is a faction who breaks the rules. I would give this book a 10, because it is a very interesting book and has a lot of expressions that in some excerpts make you wonder what would happen next.  Find it here!

The Outsiders
Author
S.E. Hinton
Review
The book is about a group that was called the greasers, and they picked on the group called the socs. the greasers were a no collar, so every time there was a fight and somebody was injured, the greasers would be be accused, or the socs would be accused and their "rich" parents would bail them out,but then Ponyboy had changed their whole perspective.Read the story to find out.

The Giver
Author
Lois Lowry
Review
The book was about a town that was a "utopia". The whole community was sameness. The main character, Jonas, became the receiver of memory. The receiver of memories is given memories and feelings from The Giver. Jonas didn't want sameness any more so he took his "little brother" with him and escaped the community.  Find it here!

This book-yet another one of my favorites-is placed in the future, with the four main characters, Bellamy, Wells, Clarke, and Glass. It is an amazing book with even better writing.  Find it here!
